Features

The Escrow Protocol is a decentralized trust fund that combines traditional crowdfunding with blockchain technology and easy to engage smart contracts. Start-up projects looking for funding will set Roadmap Milestones and Timelines according to their actual capacity and realistic performance targets, setting a basis for making fulfillable promises. Investors are able to vote on approval of Milestone completions, in voting power relative to their investment stake. Project funding-release is set to continue by default, but the investor community can block the release of further funding due to unsatisfactory project developments. There is no need for any Start-Up to sit on gigantic sums of raised money for months or years while they are developing basic infrastructure of their project. Instead of the entire raised capital being received, it is released in pre-arranged sums. This allows investors to remain in control of their funds, and motivates start up projects to deliver quality results in a timely manner. While funds are held frozen in the Escrow Protocol waiting to be released, they are automatically staked on the Escrow Lending Chain creating additional funds in interest payments for the investors to be redeemed at any time. For example using easy numbers: If a start-up project is looking for $1,000,000 in funding and splits their project into 10 equal funding steps over the course of 10 months, they will be released $100,000 in their first stage, while $900,000 are auto-staked, yielding profits for investors. Over the course of this project example, investors would stake a total of $4,500,000 on 10x 30 day lending cycles. This allows investors to have investment exposure, while knowing that funds are generating safe profits until being allocated. It is safe to assume that any project funded through the Escrow Protocol, has the best intentions to deliver a successful product in a timely manner.
